On May 21st Michayala went to her first Dodgers game, had her first Dodger Dog, and even yelled,"Hey Ump, get some glasses!" It was the Dodgers and the Phillies. We think the Phillies brought the east coast weather with them. Hot and humid.

BUMS
GRACE LIQI
On May 20th we celebrated Grace Liqi's 2nd birthday. It seems like only yesterday that our friends Murph and Reynolds were blazing the China trail for us. 
If there's one person who doesn't know their way around an icing gun it's Murph. So "Happpy 2nd Birthday Grace Liqi" became simply "Yay." Our thoughts exactly. 
And we couldn't forget Anna Fratto, who was still in China at the time being united with her parents.
LA JOLLA
Nicki had a LORT conference in La Jolla, so Mark and Michayla tagged along. We had a great time. Mark and Michayla went to the beach to see the baby seals. Cutie cutie baby seals.
MOTHER'S DAY
We celebrated Nicki's first Mother's Day in downtown LA at Kendall's Brasserie, a lovely French restaurant. Michayla gave her mom some cards that made Nicki cry and she also gave her mom a lovely Irish necklace.
