Monkey see, Monkey do.
We celebrated Michayla's first Halloween on the fashionable Upper Westside with our friends Mark, Liz, and their gorgeous daughter, Gabrielle.
Michayla was a hit everywhere we went.
Before we hit the streets, Michyala posed with her cousins Megan and Allison.

ANTI-CAROL
On Mischief Night, Michayla's Anti-Carol and Uncle Charlie drove down to Pennington from Brroklyn and drove us all into NYC. The next day we visited Carol at her work at International Flavors and Fragrances. Here Anit-Carol shows Michayla how hard she works all day.

Marty has a nosh with the theatre crowd at Sardi's and then heads off to Peep-World for a little monkey business.

PU FOOTBALL
On Saturday we took Michayla to her first college football game: her future alma mater, Princeton University, against Cornell University, the only Ivy League university with a real marching band.
Mark's good friend from back in the day (they met in 4th grade), Scott Fort, and Scott's son, Marley, joined us.

WAKE ME WHEN IT'S EXCITING
Princeton beat Cornell 20-17 in overtime in a nail biter. Michayla fell asleep 32 seconds before the end of the first half and stay asleep until 5 minutes after the game.

GRAMBLING THEY AIN'T
Nicki, being the Band Geek that she is (hello Flag Girl, Temple University), wasn't quite prepared for the Princeton University "marching band." We think the criteria to being in the band in being able to vaguely play an instrument. If you look closely, you can see the accordianist, the bagpipe player, and the violinist. They may not be the best college marching band, but just ask them to explain quantum physics.

A VISITING WE GO
It's been a whirlwind trip for the Empress. So many people to greet. Here she snuggles in with her Aunt Julie Ellen.
